WHAT PRESSURE & POWER SUPPLY ARE YOU LOOKING FOR !
This is important, if you are looking for a working pump pressure of 1500 to 2200 psi this is the maximum you can have on a 240v supply, if you are looking for a machine with a maximum pressure of 3000 psi you will have go to a 415 v supply.
PRESSURE & WATER FLOW!
Once you have chosen the pressure you require the most important thing to look at is the water flow rate ( the amount of water per minute the pump produces). Water flow is important as this gives you more cleaning power behind your lance, giving you a much faster & better clean, also when it comes to rinsing detergent from your vehicle. We recommend for the best results 12 litres per minute for a 1500 to 2200 psi & 16 litres per minute for a 3000 psi unit.
PUMP MOTOR!
When looking at a pump performance of 1500 psi machine the motor should not be below 2.2 KW and a pump performance of 3000 psi the motor should not be below 7.5 KW.
The RPM is also impotent if you are using the machine for low to medium work it is ok for the motor to run at 2800 RPM, if you are looking to buy for a machine for heavy usage and will be cleaning for long periods of time daly it is recommended the pump/ motor RPM should be 1450 RPM.
